SUMMER
Directing Course : Short Film Exquisite Corpse

08–02–25
How do you go from script to screen ? This is a filmmaking course that will guide you as you make a short film. Each week we will dive into an element of filmmaking : finding the essence of your story, working with actors and non-actors, cinematography as alchemy, translating emotional rhythm through editing and more. You will write a screenplay, create a shot list, direct a shoot, and bring your short film to life. The aim is to develop your intuition, go beyond the basics, beyond generic TV grammar, and deepen your own cinema. The course will end with a screening of an Exquisite Corpse : a string of short films made by all filmmakers in the course. Filmmaker/Educator : Sonia Oleniak
